Древовидная схема доставки информации, содержащая общий маршрут для пересылки пакетов с групповыми адресами. При использовании такой схемы повышается эффективность работы (использование ресурсов) маршрутизатора, так как в памяти хранится групповой маршрут, а не набор путей для каждой пары “отправитель-получатель”.
